Kids are online. They have access. They are DIGITAL NATIVES.

Almost a decade ago, I was a chaperone at my daughter's middle school dance. Parents were discussing social media and how their kids have to teach them everything. I was shocked because I thought most parents knew what I had learned working online for a dozen years.

It is important that parents AND their kids know what is going on and how to navigate the internet and social media. Most kids these days are digital natives—meaning they have grown up with internet technology and learned it when they were young.

We cannot afford to pretend like giving them a dumb phone and telling them the internet is scary to protect them. We have to TALK, TEACH, and EMPOWER them to use it wisely and safely.

That's why I created these guides. I use them with my family. We've updated them, added experts in IT, and hosted classes to show you HOW to navigate this new age.
